HERITAGE TORONTO - THE GRAFFITI ALLEY INSTATOUR

IDEA:
Heritage Toronto wanted to reach a younger, social media obsessed audience. So we reinvented Instagram, their favourite social media platform, to create a new type of heritage tour.

To build the Instatour, we took 800 photographs of the entire alley, both sides, and stitched them together into one giant panorama. From there, we split the image into 1300 squares and uploaded them to Instagram. Once the images were in place, we collaborated with locals, historians and graffiti artists to fill the tour with facts, history and even a few Easter Eggs.
